Wordpress 2.5 to Drupal 6.x, is about to be released. It will be included in the next version, that being 1.03, which will also retain conversion to Drupal 5.x. That is, there will be an option, convert to 5.x or 6.x.

For feature requests by all means ask for them here.

It's still on the way

It's taking a little longer than initially planned to release the next version (1.03). 1.03 certainly caters for conversion to Drupal 6.x (was relatively easy as it turned out) but this forum post from DeeZone encouraged me to fine-tune things even further. In essence, users will have the ability to match precisely Wordpress post types with Drupal content types. Users will also have the ability to better indicate status types, comment moderation and promotion to the front page.

As of this writing, the above has been coded, it works, now it's just a matter of screen presentation and work flow process to be ironed out. Not long now.

Last few little things being

Last few little things being worked out.

Since last posting this version will also adhere to Wordpress's <!--More--> tag which is subsequently replaced with the <!--break--> tag which Drupal requires.

Not long now.
