Using Ubuntu Linux 7.? I wasn't able to get the program running and this error message appeared;

Runtime Error 4: Failed Assertion
Press OK to Continue
Press Cancel to Quit.

Please report what caused this error
along with the information below.

../Common/plugin.cpp: 6893
Failure Condition: 0
The application cannot continue because a needed file cannot
be installed. libstdc++.so.5: cannot open shared object file:
No such file or directory

I posted a question over at the Ubuntu Forums. A few replies came back and this is what worked for me.

Open up a console window and type the command:
sudo apt-get install libstdc++5

I got the program up and running. I haven't checked it against MySql (on Linux - locally) just yet as MySql isn't installed.
