Wordpress 2.5 to Drupal - coming soon

Submitted by Steve on Fri, 11 Apr, 2008 - 00:40
  • converter
  • Drupal 5.x
  • Wordpress 2.5
  • Annoucement

As I mentioned a day or two ago, I'm running my eye over the source code file of the converter to re-familiarise myself before uploading it.

As a result, couldn't help myself, checked out Wordpress 2.5, compared the differences against Wordpress 2.1/2.2 and started coding.

It's taken me most of the day but I have a working converter, importing Wordpress 2.5 data into a Drupal 5.x system. Still need to work out a few little glitches but I'm confident they'll be ironed out.

I reckon by Tuesday next week I should be in a position to be uploading this latest version, along with the source code.

It's a go'er

I've ironed out those little glitches and all is working perfectly (I think). I'm confident I should be able to upload on Tuesday (15 Apr) so depending upon where you are in the world it could be Monday afternoon/evening your time.
