Anonymous user needs to exist as uid=0

Hey. I'm sure this is just assumed, but for what it's worth none of my comments were showing up until I realized that my anonymous user was not #0. I'm guessing this is because I never used my Drupal instance until after I imported the old content.

If your comments are not showing up, please go into wordpress and make sure that you have an entry for uid=0. This is probably a wordpress/import snafu as wordpress itself wants to use uid=0 for anonymous users.

Thanks for the tip

I've just doubled checked the "comments" table of Wordpress and all anonymous user comments should be zero. The relevant field is "user_id". Anything other than zero implies that a registered user entered the comment. Wordpress registered users become Drupal users and their comments carried across as well.
