I know from the behind-the-scenes statistics that the C++ content is attracting a lot of traffic and return users, more so than the Wordpress to Drupal converter software. Casually glancing at the figures, I'd say half or thereabouts of the C++ traffic is from educational institutions.

The existing content serves a purpose and clearly explains (my opinion) the topic at hand, which is important when learning C++. Unfortunately, I'm unable to keep the content ticking over at a steady pace and therefore I'm looking for contributors.

As a contributor by no means do I expect you to be an expert in every facet of C++ but at least have a knowledge and understanding of what your contribution is. As an example, the other week I solved a problem relating to the conversion of decimal numbers to any base and reverse. This was required for the Wordpress to Drupal converter. For experienced coders, of any language, this is nothing earth shattering, but for students and people new to this game it's examples like this that really help. I'll write this up shortly, unless I'm beaten to the punch.

From a personal point of view, I'd like to see contributions relating to GUI development, how to get started etc. Other areas could relate to projects solved, file handling etc. the list goes on.

I'm envisioning that the contribution will make the front page and will also be slotted into the existing C++ book, at the most relevant spot. Obviously, chapters can be created or even new books, say C++ GUI.

At the time of this writing I haven't got anything in place for users to make contributions. I'm first establishing if there is any interest. Obviously an account has to be created first and after that I'd assign contributors to an additional user role (contributor) which will allow contribution.
